All students in the following courses: PLS 135, PSY 200, ADJ 133, ENG 111 (1 section), SOC 266 & 268, HIS 121, HMS 290, SDV 100 (1 section), ITN 106 & 107 & NSG 152.
A rubric, based on the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) Civic Engagement VALUE Rubric, will be used to evaluate work products of students in the selected courses.
75% of students will receive a score of 2 (minimally meets expectations) or higher on recognizing the value of diverse feelings, perspectives, and life experiences and the strength that such diversity brings to civic life.
88.23% of students scored a 2 (minimally meets expectations) or higher.
Where do we go from here?
Findings are reviewed by the College’s General Education Committee every two-years. Action plans to address missed target outcomes will be discussed in fall 2023.
